              Pros

              • Tibia is a free game and it is not a very large game to download to your computer.
              • We like the gameplay of the Tibia.
              • Player community is very large on the game.

              Cons

              • Tibia's graphics are outdated. You will need to love old school games to play this game.
              • There are not much item variety and class options on the game.

Tibia is an old school MMO adventure RPG that you can play on Linux OS, Mac Os and Windows OS. However CipSoft GmbH only provides support for Windows OS client of the game. Other operating systems are not officially supported by the company. The game has been released in 1997 but there are many online players who are playing this game whole around the world. The game especially very popular in countries like Brazil, Poland, Sweden, Mexico and United States of America. It includes traces of many genres inside of the game, like Pixel gaming, dungeons, fantasy world, kid gaming, etc. Tibia is a larger version of TibiaME. We have introduced TibiaME for you on GameRanks before. Both games are published by CipSoft GmbH. You can also click here to check our review for TibiaMe.

              Tibia Gameplay

There are four classes on the game that you can pick on Tibia. These are Paladin, Sorcerer, Druid, Knight. Unlike other fantasy role playing games, Paladins are a range class on Tibia. They can use bows, crossbows, spears on the game and they have also some magical abilities. They can also be a melee class. Sorcerers are strong magicians of Tibia realm and they use destruction spells against their enemies. However they are not very powerful physically. Druids are individuals and allied with nature. They use healing and nature spells to support their enemies. They can also make runes. Knights are melee warriors and they are the most tanky creature of Tibia realm. They don’t have much magical skills on the game. However their physical abilities bring them a brute strength in the battlefield. You can select one of these races on the game and begin to your adventure.

              1. There is a loyalty point system that gives people with 8 year old accounts etc a 50% leveling bonus on any and all tibia gaming server’s – you do level faster in team hunts BUT they are very rare to get into as a new player. and forget about power leveling.. you get 48 house of stamina… first 2 hours good exp then afterwards it drops the exp% drops after 17 hours… you stop getting exp or anything even loot after 0%

here is the kicker, stamina takes x4 to build back up too.

it’s a fun game if you don’t want to level as fast as other players, Can’t even keep up so you can team hunt… hard to play solo but as a new player it’s your only choice.
i spent over $300.00 and still am not even close to the level cap of 300… and the top level in-game is 1000+

Noobs like myself get scammed a lot and cipsoft/tibia said it is part of the game. and basically my fault for being dumb >.<
